C&L TRUEFLOW 85MM MAF SYSTEM FOR 2002-2004 4.6L MODULAR MUSTANGS

We've got the kit for your 2002-2004 2-valve 4.6L Mustang.
This package features a brand new 85mm housing, C&L TrueFlow Filter and a plastic shield to cover the filter and hold the assembly in place. In 2002, Ford completely re-designed the mass air flow sensor for the Mustng. The new mass air flow housing continued to measure in at 80mm, but had different air flow characteristics than the earlier models, and the new sensor now includes an integrated air temperature sensor. Through extensive dyno testing and the development of an all new C&L mass air flow housing, we were able to introduce a new MAF package for 2002-2004 Mustang GT's. Similar to our popular kits for the 1996-2001 Mustangs, our new kit #10699A comes complete with a new 85mm maf housing, C&L TrueFlow Air Filter and plastic shield to hold the assembly into place and draw air in from the fender.

Dyno testing has shown this package consistantly delivers an average increase of 9 RWHP from 3000 RPM to redline, with and average torque gain of 9, and a peak RWHP gain of about 14 between 5500-5700 RPM. The 85mm housing in this package cannot be used on earlier model vehicles. Due to the fact that the new sensor uses a different style electronics module, larger than stock fuel injectors must be accomodated through a computer tune.

This package is also available as a C&L TrueFlow Air Intake System which includes our inlet pipe. This option will add additional horsepower and replaces everything from the throttle body forward.
